Egypt 12-Day Aromatic Journey
October 5–16, 2026

Something extraordinary is unfolding

In October 2026, I’ll be guiding a 12-day aromatic journey through Egypt, an experience rooted in scent, sacred landscapes, ancient wisdom, and deep restoration.

This journey is created by an aromatherapist for aromatherapists, herbalists, and plant-centered practitioners who feel called to experience Egypt not as a destination, but as a living classroom of plants, history, and land.

Why This Journey is Unique
We will move slowly and intentionally, from the Pyramids to the Nile, from temples carved in stone to the quiet rhythm of the Red Sea, allowing space for learning, reflection, and integration.

A Plant-Centered Perspective
This journey is guided through the lens of aromatic plants and botanical wisdom, not simply historical monuments. Egypt is approached as a living archive of plant use, where resins, oils, herbs, and aromatic materials were integral to healing, ritual, daily life, and spiritual practice.
Participants are invited to consider how plants were sourced, prepared, and used within their original environmental and cultural context, bridging traditional knowledge with modern aromatic practice.

Sacred Geography Along the Nile
Rather than focusing on a single region, the journey follows the natural flow of the Nile, from Cairo through Upper Egypt. This geographic progression mirrors how ancient civilizations themselves moved, traded, farmed, and learned. Experiencing Egypt in this way allows for a deeper understanding of how landscape, climate, and water shaped both botanical traditions and cultural development over thousands of years.

Hands On Experience to Aromatics & Essential oils
Participants will visit an essential oil production facility, offering firsthand insight into contemporary aromatic processing within Egypt.
This experience provides an opportunity to:
-
Observe extraction methods Cold pressed Citrus & Steam Distilled Herbs
-
Pick plants and talk with the farmers and distillers
-
Understand the relationship between land, plant material, and finished aromatic products

Historical Insight Guided by a Licensed Egyptologist
Historical and cultural context is essential for meaningful understanding. All major sites are explored with a licensed, English-speaking Egyptologist, who situates temples, landscapes, and daily life within their historical framework. This ensures that the journey remains educational, accurate, and respectful, helping participants understand how aromatic plants fit into broader social, religious, and medical systems of ancient Egypt.

Time for Learning, Time for Rest
The journey intentionally balances intellectual engagement with physical and nervous-system restoration. Time aboard the Nile cruise and days by the Red Sea are not simply leisure, they are part of the learning process. Rest, rhythm, and integration support deeper absorption of information and allow space for personal reflection.
This balance is especially important for practitioners whose work involves care, teaching, and service to others.

Presence Over Pace
Unlike conventional tours that prioritize volume and speed, this journey prioritizes presence, depth, and quality of experience.
Time is built in for:
-
Observation without rushing
-
Quiet reflection
-
Meaningful conversation within the group

Small Group Learning Environment
Participation is limited to 15 people, creating an intimate container for shared experience.
A small group allows for:
-
Ease of movement through sites
-
Meaningful dialogue and questions
-
A respectful presence in sacred spaces
-
Stronger group cohesion and shared learning

Walking the Land Where Plant Traditions Were Born
Ultimately, what makes this journey unique is the opportunity to encounter aromatic plants within their ancestral landscape.
Rather than learning about plants solely through texts, products, or distillations, participants experience them through:
-
Geography
-
Climate
-
Culture
-
History
-
Place
